That's what the latest email from the GMC (much overdue response if you don't mind me saying your worshipfullness of the ECHR)

Well I will let you decide based on the email evidence that I now place before you.

Hi there

below is a copy of my blog site, they deal in the main with the treatment of mental health patients by all and sundry. Not least the previous Health Minister at the welsh Assembly one Dr. Brian Gibbon, and the Doctor on the DLA board (disability living allowance).

There are specific blogs dealing with those two, but there is also alot of other issues involved that the BMA would prefer to ignore as they have never addressed these issues and as my MP refuses to be of any assistance in guiding me to the right people well you will see if you read the blog list.

What I am wondering is if the GMC will take on board the issues involved in order that the abuse of myself by all these people thru inaction ceases, and lead to the patient lead service everyone talks about but somehow ignore if its me doing the leading.

I am chasing up an acknowledgement of receipt of the complaint sent on the 18/7/07 I trust you do not mind my being pushy in this, but I think for the benefit of others in my position it was about time something was done to have a little social justice come our way.

Thank you for your email dated 18th July 2007. I am sorry for the delay in responding.
Our Fitness to Practise procedures focus on the most serious concerns, which call into question a doctor’s fitness to practise and right to retain unrestricted registration – that is his or her right to work. In many cases, concerns about a doctor can best be considered at a local level, by the doctor’s employer.

From the information that you have provided so far, we cannot identify any issues that would enable us to conduct an investigation into an individual doctor. We are not able to access internet accounts to take details of a complaint and it would be inappropriate for us to do so. I have attached a complaint form and a guidance on making a complaint.

Unless you can provide us with more specific information about your complaint and what you think an individual doctor has done wrong, we are unable to consider your complaint further.
